Halo: Reach may have ODSTs, will certainly have guns

The stars of Halo: ODST might catch some action in Halo: Reach.

In an interview with G4TV, Halo writer and game creative director Joseph Staten teased a possible reappearance of Buck and crew in Halo: Reach, a squad-based shooter set to be unveiled in moving-pictures at the Spike Video Game Awards show in a few days.

“I can’t comment on any future plans for our ODSTs,” Staten said. “But it would be a shame if we made a game about the planet Reach — a place where Buck, the ODSTs squad leader was known to be — and not have him appear in some way, shape, or form.”

If you squint real hard at the little people in the Reach promotional ad that shipped with copies of Halo: ODST, you can see an ODST in the middle of the image. Also, twinkles and lights — but that was shortly before we lost conciousness.
