I’m the biggest Halo nerd around these parts and even I thought the Halo Reach trailer that premiered near the end of the VGAs was disappointing. But, I’m not blaming Bungie for that. I have to blame the hype that got built up around it already. Oh hype train. Here we go again!
Anyway, the trailer above is all in-game footage supposedly. If true, then holy damn those that look great. Regardless of how it looks, I’m extremely excited for Reach. The fall of Reach is a big turning point for the UNSC battle against the Covenant, especially since the battle that takes place there leads the Master Chief to discover the Halo ring world where Halo: Combat Evolved takes place.
What do you all think? Like what you’re seeing? Love that there’s more than one SPARTAN II finally? And what’s the big deal with showing a regular Elite at the end of the trailer?
