Halo people snap up Kojima Productions composer

There’s a good possibility of some great music coming to the Halo world.

A tweet from the HaloWaypoint Twitter account this morning dropped some interesting information:

We’re excited to announce our newest member of the 343 family, Audio Director, Sotaro Tojima from Kojima Productions!

Nice. Tojima is a badass, and has previously worked on some of the best sounding games in the business, including Metal Gear Solid 4, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, and many more. I don’t know how they landed the composer/sound designer, but I do know it was a good move. Konami games are known for their amazing sound. Halo games? There’s that one overplayed theme, and that’s it.

I can’t wait to see hear what they are working on.
