Halo 3 thief gets banned from Live until the year 9999

Hilarity from the offices of Xbox Live, as the users who obtained an illegal copy of Halo 3 have been banned forever. Well, scratch that … it’s only until 12/31/9999. That’s right, before the year 10,000, they can finally get back onto Live and jump right in on some Halo 3 deathmatch action. While it’s fantastic that Microsoft went so far as to make such a ridiculous ban temporary, provided the rulebreakers are immortal, it gets better. So much better.

Imagine you just procured, quite illegally, a copy of Halo 3 before the release date.  Now, considering this is the biggest franchise the Xbox 360 has, and Microsoft is a company that does not mess around when it comes to monitoring its customers and punishing all who betray it, what would be the first thing you do? Would you, say, take it online for everybody in the whole bloody world to see how illegal you’re being!? Apparently that’s what these utter morons did.

The fools didn’t even figure out what was wrong until one of them actually COMPLAINED about the banning, compounding the stupidiocy of the situation and bringing a whole new level of retarded to the table. While one of the main offenders claimed he isn’t bothered about creating a new gamertag and having one of his four consoles banned, that won’t stop him being one of the biggest imbeciles the gaming world has ever seen. Congratulations guys, you’ve just made a whole world of Downe’s Syndrome sufferers feel about ten times smarter.
