Hacking group threatens ‘the end’ of Sony

While Sony is ready to put the past behind it and move on with a safer, more robust PlayStation Network, the hackers have not had their fill. At least as far as one group, LulzSec, is concerned. The hacker group has promised further attacks, and promises to “end” Sony with its actions.

LulzSec is implicated in the hacking of Sony BGM’s music site and says that “Phase One” of its grand master plan is going to begin soon. According to the group’s Twitter account, “Sony happens when Sony happens – we’re celebrating our victory right now. The fun will never stop!”

The group claims to have already hacked into Sony’s servers again, but so far no result of such an action has been publicized. It says that the “Sownage” will be unleashed at a “Steady pace.”

There’s little doubt that hackers, eager to prove their skills, will attempt to infiltrate the newly secured PlayStation Network. I have this horrible feeling that the extra security will just present a more tempting challenge and greater effort to crack it open.
