The PlayStation 4 edition of survivalist-shooter H1Z1 will take its Battle Royale mode out of open beta at the start of next month, opening up yet another option for your Last Person Standing needs.

Developer Daybreak Games has confirmed that, come August 7, H1Z1: Battle Royale will official launch on Sony’s black box, complete with a list of Trophies and a wealth of new in-game content, including vehicles and weapons.

If you wanna be the final figure on the map, then specialists you might want to grab a hold of the new semi-auto sniper rifle, while an RPG launcher will also be made available for those who prefer a hammer to a scalpel. To get you and your motley crew to and from the carnage, saddle up with the new ARV, which also includes a hatch for those drive-by sniping opportunities.

Battle Pass Season 1 will also go live in-game, allowing players to bag rewards as they track their XP progress. Three stat tracks will be provided, including a free track for all players and two paid tracks, Premium and PlayStation Plus, which will offer greater rewards as you rack up your wins. H1Z1 is available now on PC, and leaves open beta on PS4 August 7.
