Activision has released a couple of new videos touting a couple of their prized rock star participants in Guitar Hero: World Tour. The clip above shows Zakk Wylde, Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist and the frontman for his Black Label Society, donning a motion capture suit and jumping about like a lunatic.
The second video, which you can find after the jump, features Hayley Williams of Paramore doing much the same, although I won’t deny that she’s more appealing than Wylde. I must live under a rock or something, because I have absolutely no idea who Paramore are but I hear that they’re popular.
Does having rock stars involved in the game have any effect on your interest in purchasing it? Do you think it lends some sort of legitimacy to the game? I can’t say that I particularly care one way the other, since it’s the track list and gameplay that appeal to me for the plastic instrument genre of games, but I’m sure that there are those out there for whom this could sway a purchase.
