Good things to come to those who wait, and by “good things” I mean saving a few bucks on Activision’s Hero titles. Only a few months after their launch, both Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and DJ Hero 2 are getting price drops.
You can now buy both standalone games for $49.99 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii. A Warriors of Rock guitar bundle will run you $79.99; the band bundle (one guitar, a microphone, and a drumset) will cost you $159.99. The DJ Hero 2 one-turntable bundle is now $59.99; only $10 for the peripheral is not a bad deal.
I reviewed both titles, so maybe take the time to read my thoughts on Warriors of Rock and DJ Hero 2 before you make a purchase decision. Spoiler: DJ Hero 2 is excellent, Warriors of Rock is… silly, but serviceable.
