Guild Wars 2 is getting a streaming client soon, getting you into the game faster

Blizzard did a great job with its streaming game hub, allowing players to jump into titles while they were downloading. Every feature may not be available and it might not look the best, but during particularly slow download sessions it was nice to not wait hours on end to actually get in and play the game you paid for.

ArenaNet is following suit soon with the beta version of their streaming client for Guild Wars 2, set to arrive in the near future in North America and Europe. In essence, you’ll have a progress bar, same as always, but once it reaches a certain point you can start playing early.

Streaming options will also be available for fans who have ISP cap issues or slower connections.
