Codemasters has announced that the first season of DLC content for GRID will go live next Wednesday, December 4, bringing a new selection of vehicles and events to the turbo-charged racer.

The “Hot Hatch Showdown” event will allow Ultimate Edition owners to tear up the track in the new Paris circuit with four new hatchback cars: The MINI Hatch JCW, The Lancia Delta HF Integrale Super Hatch, The Renault Clio S1600, and finally the AUDI S1 Quattro Concept. All four vehicles can be used in Career, Free Play and Multiplayer modes.

Speaking of Career Mode, there are now 33 new challenges ready for your racing prowess. Two threads are available, one for the base roster of roadsters, and another exclusively for the new hatchbacks. Standard Edition players can purchase all of the above content from GRID‘s digital store. The Paris circuit is free for all players, allowing you to whiz around famous sights such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, with day, night and rain variants.

GRID is available now on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
