Grid Autosport’s Switch port features options for graphics/performance

Energy saver mode, too

The Switch release of Grid Autosport completely snuck up on me. Despite following the news pretty intently, I somehow missed that it’s coming out next week. Available on the eShop starting September 19, 2019, developer Feral Interactive (which is working on this port) has shared some footage of the game that shows off some of the various options Autosport will have. While the game seems to run fine in the video, there will be options for graphics or performance preferences available.

In a really nice touch, there’s an energy saver mode for when you’re on the go and need to conserve battery. The trailer doesn’t detail exactly how that works, but I’d imagine it dims the visuals and probably pares things back further to reduce GPU/CPU strain. This is in addition to the fully customizable control options, variable difficulty options, and tutorial videos accessible at any time. This sounds like the complete Grid experience on the go.
