GOG.com is giving away Mount & Blade and The Witcher 2

The latter requires checking in daily

GOG.com is now running its Big Fall Sale and beyond discounts on the classics and indie games, there are a few freebies to claim. For Mount & Blade, a medieval sandbox title with tons of mods, head to the site’s front page in the next 48 hours and scroll down to the giveaway banner. Done.

The process for scoring a free copy of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (and some film called The Gamers: Director’s Cut) is slightly more involved. You’ll have to return to GOG.com daily to collect seven stamps (i.e., click on a box on the front page). Painless, but easy to forget.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if the just-added Star Wars: X-Wing or TIE Fighter go on sale.
