Updated on July 24, 2025: For Styles, added Yukimiya and adjusted other rankings. For Egos, added Streetstyle and adjusted the tier list.
The best Styles in Goalbound are all about having a great mix of shooting power, dribble/mobility, and some form of utility or tech for high-skill plays. As for Egos, they provide unique passive abilities and random stat boost values so we’ll be ranking those too. Luckily not all of the strongest Styles or Egos are Mythic or Legendary as there are excellent options in the Rare and Epic rarities as well. Let’s analyze all of them separately and find the best ones in this complete Goalbound Styles and Ego tier list.

Goalbound Styles Tier List

There’s no bad styles in Goalbound (except the underpowered Isagi) and you can pretty much play whatever is fun to you. That said there are Styles that are drastically more powerful at dribbling and shooting than others so I’m looking for the best ones. This tier list is based on how powerful, flexible and defensible the shooting and dribbling moves are as well as if there’s any special tech or utility the Style can use to pull off high-end plays. Let’s dive into each style separately below and go through their pros and cons as well as some tips.
Ranking Elaboration: Below you’ll find detailed explanations for each style but in general note that SSS/S Tiers are the best styles in the game. A is where you’ll find strong styles that are really powerful in specific situations but not completely flexible or have weaknesses. B is for styles that have niche uses and are fun to play but don’t match up to the higher tiers. C is for straight-up underpowered styles that need a buff.
SSS-Tier Styles
| Style | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Sae (Mythic) | + Tons of ways to disable the enemy team or support your own like shutting down other Awakenings with yours + Huge movement, dribble, variation and combo potential with Beautiful Destruction and Celestial Touch + Great support potential with the Perfect Pass which auto-locks to teammates unlike in games like Project Egoist + Despite having a lot of support, mobility and utility you can still be offensive with Awakening shots and move variants like X + X to curve shot + Overall has an overloaded kit that’s good for everything • While Sae has good shooting moves they’re overall slightly weaker than some other S and SSS Tier shots |
![]() Rin (Mythic) | + The Z move is both incredible offense mobility and defense anklebreak becoming even better in Awakening + The Curve Shot has high power and speed on it with a large curve making it harder to block than other curved shots + Annihilation just brings more mobility and ankle breaker potential that along with the offense focused Awakenings make Rin one of the most aggressive offensive styles in the game • Rin relies heavily on you making the most of his powerful Curved Shot with no back-up shots without Awakening |
![]() Yukimiya (Legendary) | + What makes Yukimiya good is a similar reason to Rin and that is incredible mobility which is a balance issue Goalbound is known for + If you have this much dribble mobility with La Boba and Street Sliding it takes no real skill to reach the goal and with the Volleyshot mechanic you can just jump and shoot making it difficult for both players and AI to defend + Also, Yukimiya has the Gyro Shot which, even though it was changed a bit from testing, is still highly unpredictable once you practice it due to the immense curve and timing delay + The Awakening Ultimate Gyro Shot is just a better version so you’re essentially the most offensive mix of mobility dribble and shooting power • The only downside is the Blindness bar which stuns you if you spam moves similar to Chigiri’s Injury bar but Yukimiya has better shooting power so it’s more worth it |
S-Tier Styles
| Style | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Shidou (Mythic) | + Exceptionally fast mobility combo by mixing Dragon Drive after super sprint that’s on par with Chigiri + Reflex Shot has air invincibility so your ball can’t get stolen and unlike most shots you can control it both left/right but also up/down for unpredictable plays + Dragon Header has long range and great power but it’s best used to defend since it catches nearby balls like Nagi’s Trap when activated + Chemical reaction with Sae • No Dribble/Steal-defense moves • Shidou’s shots can become a bit predictable |
![]() Bachira (Epic) | + Lots of combos, mix-ups, and dribble moves with Monster Flick and Free Touch + You can volley shot right after Monster Flick for a powerful combo play shot + Bee Shot comboes with Rainblow Flick into Header into Bee Shot that’s a great power unpredictable shot and it’s even good for close range + Overall has a lot of playmaking potential which makes him both SSS if you play right or B at best if you don’t put in the practice • Note that Goalbound’s Bachira requires a lot of practice for high-skill high-reward plays that make the most of his kit |
![]() Nagi (Legendary) | + The core of Nagi’s kit is the incredibly powerful Trap move to stop any shot in the game + Tons of combo potential with Make-Shift Dribble into various volley shot or Trap + Best goalkeeper/defense due to Trap and overall very flexible + Lots of tech potential to pull of crazy plays • Volley Shot is decent but a comparatively mediocre shot against Barou or Shidou keeping Nagi from SSS-Tier even with the Awakening shot • You usually have to use your entire kit in a smart way to pull off good plays leaving you on full CD often |
A-Tier Styles
| Style | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Barou (Legendary) | + Barou is all about simple-to-play raw mobility and shooting power of which he has a lot with his base kit and Awakening + Some of the best mobility and dribble in Goalbound with Lightning Dribble and Chop Feint + Moves combo into volley shot for high power plays and Lion Shot + I’m pretty sure Lion Shot is the strongest shot in the game right now so you need to get used to its power and aim well • Not a lot of utility or high-skill play potential, just raw and simple power • No dribble/defense |
![]() Kunigami (Rare) 25% Roll Chance 46.5% Lucky Roll Chance | + Overall best Rare in Goalbound due to powerful shots and counters + Iron Head is the best close-range shot in the game + Power Shot is extremely flexible and has great power at medium and long range that also combos well with a jump for more unpredictability (Just aim upwards a bit due to the power) + Also has good steal defense with Hero’s Fortitude counter and his Awakening is top-tier • The only thing keeping him from S-Tier is his drastic lack of mobility but if you can master Dribble, Tackle, and Dash timing you’re good • His counter can be overwhelmed if there are two people on you |
![]() Gagamaru (Rare) 25% Roll Chance 46.5% Lucky Roll Chance | + Gagamaru can easily switch from defense/support to offense and his Shachihoko and Awakening shot are great offensive option to pull off a goal when switching roles + Good mix-up potential with Scorpion Kick + Decent Goalkeeper/Support with Bear Deflect that can block shots and long pass to teammates + That said, if you know when to spam his offensive moves he becomes quite a strong attacker • While great near a goal, his lack of good mobility and steal/counter moves keep him in A-Tier |
B-Tier Styles
| Style | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Chigiri (Rare) 25% Roll Chance 46.5% Lucky Roll Chance | + Used to be S-Tier before he got nerfed during testing but his off-ball mobility is still the best in the game + Panther Fangs is an amazing double dash dribble move + Hyperspeed Rush is one of the best off-ball moves to catch the ball + Excellent at catching stray loose balls and passing to his team • Chigiri has a unique injury bar where if you spam his moves he’ll be stunned • His Mach Cut-In shot is bad at close range and predictable at medium to long and this along with his Injury bar keeps him from A-Tier |
C-Tier Styles
| Style | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Isagi (Uncommon) 55% Roll Chance 0% Lucky Roll Chance | + Off Ball Movement is a great mobility move like in BLR, Azure Latch, or Project Egoist that makes his mobility competitive + A pretty decent beginner option that can situationally compete with higher Tier styles with Awakening + Direct Shot has a slow start-up, is quite predictable and you can’t adjust your aim that well • Overall Isagi isn’t bad and can be pretty decent like in other Roblox BL games but he struggles to compete with the higher tiers in terms of shooting power |
Goalbound Ego Tier List

The Flow system in Goalbound works via Egos that provide stat bonuses and powerful abilities. Note that in general, if the unique ability is good enough it’s more important than the stat bonus (Unless the stat bonus is extreme). Egos like Speedster and Egoist are underpowered for different reasons with Speedster lacking an ability and Egoist lacking kickpower. Overall, the best ones currently are Dribbler and Genius for offense and Iron Wall for defense. Let’s dive into them individually with some tips below.
S-Tier Ego
| Ego | Effect | Ranking Reason |
|---|---|---|
Streetstyle Legendary | • 106% Walk Speed • 82% Stamina Drain • [Active] Lower Dribble cooldown and increase Dribble distance | • The lack of shooting power hurts but like Dribbler this is an incredible defensive/offensive Ego • Especially for styles like Shidou or Barou who lack good dribble mobility • The increased Dribble distance combined with a rainbow flick and at least one mobility move gets you to the goal easily |
Dribbler Legendary | • 110% Kick Power • 107% Walk Speed • 60% Stamina Drain • [Active] Lower Dribble cooldown | • Amazing on any aggressive style like Barou or Shidou that rely on Dribble • Excellent mix of better stamina and shooting power • One of the best Egos in Goalbound |
Genius Mythic | • 125% Kick Power • 106% Walk Speed • 65% Stamina Drain • [Active] Succesful Feints reset cooldown | • High skill high reward Ego that requires you to be aggressive in your use of Feints • Second best kick power in the game • Similar stamina boost to Dribbler but better Kick Power • Potentially the best Ego in Goalbound |
Iron Wall Epic | • 120% Kick Power • 105% Walk Speed • 89% Stamina Drain • [Active] Increased Dive hitbox (Dribble when Goalkeep) | • S-Tier Goal Keeper oriented Ego, A or B otherwise • Good Kick Power • That dive hitbox will save you a lot more goals both as a beginner and expert GK • Wanted to put it in S-Tier but it’s technically not a must-have for GKs so A-Tier is perfect |
A-Tier Ego
| Ego | Effect | Ranking Reason |
|---|---|---|
Brother Mythic | • 110% walkspeed • 106% kick power • 82% stamina drain. • [Active] Increase the curve on all of your curve shots. | • Not the best kick power but still has decent speed and stamina • The curve increase makes all shots less predictable and is overall a boost to scoring • Not good on styles that already have a lot of shot options |
Hero Rare | • 120% Kick Power • 105% Walk Speed • 89% Stamina Drain • [Active] Shots are more powerful with more people around you | • Excellent offensive style if you play near the middle around a lot of defenders • Great Kick Power |
King Legendary | • 136% Kick Power • [Active] Gain the ability to tackle teammates | • Best Kick Power boost in the game • It’s a noticable difference especially on aggressive styles like Rin or Barou • It’s not S-Tier because that’s all there is to it since the ally tackle isn’t useful when you start playing with experienced teammates or friends via voice chat • Though I should point out it’s awesome when you’re playing with bad teammates who hog the ball |
B-Tier Ego
| Ego | Effect | Ranking Reason |
|---|---|---|
Prodigy Mythic | • 50% stamina drain • 115% kick power • 110% walkspeed • [Active] Teammates will have increased hitbox when you pass to them | • Excellent stats with the best stamina boost in the game along with Egoist • It’s in B-Tier because the passive is very situational in public games • Becomes better in a voice-comm pre made team where you’re playing cooperatively |
Speedster Rare | • 120% Kick Power • 103% Walk Speed • 85% Stamina Drain | • While the stats are quite good there’s no passive • Great kick power |
C-Tier Ego
| Ego | Effect | Ranking Reason |
|---|---|---|
Egoist Uncommon | • 117% Walk Speed • 50% Stamina Drain • [Active] Volley Shots are stronger | • Even though it falls behind on Kick Power, Egoist is still pretty good due to the massive Stamina boost • One of the best stamina boosts in the entire game • The Volley Shot boost isn’t OP but it’s incredibly useful for offense |
