Halloween is less than two weeks away and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to kick some zombie ass. Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is already upon us, but there’s also another zombie slaughter-fest vying for your attention. It’s an ultra-violent on rails shooter known as House of the Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut and it’s making its HD debut on the PlayStation 3 next Tuesday.
If you didn’t play House of the Dead: Overkill on the Wii in 2009, you should definitely check out the PS3 port just to experience the extremely over-the-top presentation and truly memorable characters. Also, Detective Isaac Washington’s insistence on dropping an f-bomb every possible chance he gets is pretty awesome. As always there’s a trailer to get you excited for the game. It’s got a carnival.
