Go back through the Resident Evil 7 demo with this handy NES style manual

Well done

People have been combing every part of the Resident Evil 7 demo for clues and secrets, and a lot of that work has sort of culminated in a giant NES style manual, created by a community member named “wheresbarry.” You’ll find a general overview of the story, cast, items, creatures, and even a map — all created over the course of what wheresbarry states is “seven straight days of work.”

All this did was make me pine for the days of manuals. I used to love ripping open a game and reading the manual first as I was waiting for the thing to load. Or I’d sit there and listen to the title screen music in anticipation, occasionally using the “notes” section for actual notes. It was magical!
