It has been a while since I have played a mobile game that I have really gotten into. Could Omega: the First Movement be the one to end my dry spell? Maybe! Its protagonist looks like a neon cyberpunk version of the kid from Limbo, and he uses a guitar/axe like Eddie from Brütal Legend. The gameplay looks a lot like Taiko Drum Master, and I’m pretty okay with that.
Sadly, while it is available right now for iOS devices, I will have to wait until February for the Android version. Somebody in the comments with an iPhone: try it now and let me know if I should get it next month.
