Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ will arrive on Steam next month. It’s a game some of us own already, but one I’ll happily buy again now that most of my gaming happens on a PC these days. Really, I just can’t be bothered to wait three minutes while my Xbox 360 loads a bunch of apps and ads. Those who pay the requisite $9.99 for DX+ before its September 25 launch on PC will also get an All You Can Eat add-on pack — it’s got Dig Dug skins, people. Enough said.

In Nick Chester’s review, he called the title “as timeless as the original, and while it probably won’t reinvigorate Pac-Man as a cultural phenomenon, it’s certainly an amazing step towards making the series relevant again.” Our former editor-in-chief also quoted me describing it as “absolutely orgasmic” which sure sounds like some dumb thing I’d say. Oh, 2010 Jordan.
