OK, so here’s the deal: Raphael Saadiq, former member of the R&B group Toni! Toni! Tone! has his own videogame company, the Denver-based studio Illfonic. Their first project is Ghetto Golf, a downloadable titles that mixes together four Gs: games, gangsters, guns, and golf.
Right.
MTV Multiplayer’s Stephen Totilo recently got a sneak peek of an early version of the game, which he describes as “Grand Theft Auto meets Tiger Woods PGA.” The developers describe Ghetto Golf as “Friday meets Happy Gilmore.” We’re not sure which description is more bizarre, but we’re intrigued.
