Microsoft continues to showcase the New Xbox Experience with this week’s segment focusing on the exciting world of Avatars. Major Nelson walks us through the process of creating an always-smiling, always-creepy little character in the video above.

The Avatars seem to be the one aspect of the Fall Dashboard Update to really cause everyone to become vocal. Some are mad as hell, others are impartial, and a select few actually like Microsoft’s answer to Nintendo’s Miis and Sony’s Home.
