Get Michael Jackson’s Thriller for free on Xbox Live

For the first time since Michael Jackson’s death, we actually have something relevant to talk about that concerns him. This is great news for the various game blogs that keep trying to find excuses to mention his name in a bid to score some cheap pageviews. Xbox Live has decided to pay a subtle tribute to the Smooth Criminal, as US Xbox Live customers can download the video for “Thriller” at no extra cost.

Unfortunately, it seems that this is a US-only offer, as the SD version of the music video still costs European Xbox owners 200 Microsoft Points. Still, if you’re in the United States and don’t feel that the television networks have been playing Thriller enough times, you can download this little beauty right now.
