Get drunk, punch a table and throw cake everywhere

Japan is great

Last night I played an amazing and utterly bizarre arcade machine from Japan called Cho Chabudai Gaeshi! (Super Table-Flip!). The idea is simple: release pent up anger and agression by punching a plastic table over and over and over again, building up your agression until you feel ready to grab the table from beneath and flip it over, sending virtual wedding cake, school stationary or picnic supplies flying.

It’s a super simple concept, but one that was a bunch of fun to come across while drunk in Amsterdam. I punched the table with all of my might, whacking and slamming over and over, before throwing the table and watching it knock virtual kids to the ground, causing carnage as it went.

Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that provide the most joy.
