I’m getting positive vibes

It feels like progress on Octopath Traveler has been moving quickly, as Square Enix and Acquire didn’t announce it until 2017 — now it’s almost out. We’ve gotten a decent look at the art, soundtrack, and general idea of the game (you can control one of eight travelers each of which who have different skills), but this new April update video runs us through all of those concepts.

You’ll get a quick look at Therion the thief and H’aanit the hunter, the former of which will be able to employ the steal command just like a classic Final Fantasy. The clip also shows off the rather impressive environments and the battle system a bit.

Octopath is out worldwide on July 13.
