Geometry Wars: Galaxies features video: love is a trapezoid!

The above video is a promotional highlight reel of the upcoming features found in Geometry Wars: Galaxies, the upcoming semi-sequel to Xbox LIVE Arcade mega-smash Geometry Wars. Galaxies, while not as pretty as the XBLA version, brings many new features to the table including multiplayer, Gradius-esque helper ships, new enemies, and stages that aren’t constricted to mere squares.

Honestly, I fell in love with the original Geometry Wars the moment I played it and I’m intensely excited about this game being updated. With the ability to play Galaxies on my DS I will never again be bored during flights, long lines at the bank or particularly dull Civil War reenactments.
