Genshin Impact PC requirements

Is it time to start your journey?

While you can run Genshin Impact on your phone, you’ll still need the right PC requirements to run the RPG on your PC to make the jump from mobile worth it. You’ll need at least 8GB of memory and around 100GB of storage to go on an adventure in Teyvat.

Minimum Genshin Impact PC requirements

Genshin Impact is an absolutely stunning game to behold on your PC. Additionally, it will save your phone from burning up (I’ve never figured out why mobile gaming is so big because of this). Here are the minimum Genshin Impact PC requirements you’ll need, according to the Epic Games Store listing:

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit and higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Storage: Around 100GB
  • DirectX: DX11
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 or better

If you can’t play Genshin Impact on your computer due to these minimum spec requirements, you could always stream the game through GeForce Now. It’s a subscription service that streams the games you own to your computer. Just log in to your Hoyoverse account, and you should be good to go.

The recommended specs are much grander than the minimum requirements that have been outlined. It asks for double the memory and a much more powerful graphics card. The store listing says that you’ll need:

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit and higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 or equivalent
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Storage: Around 100GB
  • DirectX: DX11
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or better

Genshin Impact is a beautiful game with picturesque environments like Liyue and Mondstadt. And while it’s not a demanding game, HoYoverse’s RPG may struggle on older mobile devices, making the PC version preferable for many.
