Gears of War hits Games on Demand

Feel the need to download a new (old) game over Games on Demand? Epic Games would be pleased if you had the itch. The original Gears of War — the Platinum Hits version — is now available over Microsoft’s console-side digital downloads service.

Experience all the cursing, the brown, the blood and gore and the Emergence Day origins story all over again. Or don’t. Either way, the 6GB Gears of War download is priced terribly at $19.99 for your buying pleasure. Just don’t tell Fenix that you bought it at Amazon.com for $18.38 or lower. He’s a bit of a testy fellow.
