Gearbox is working on two new IPs

Plus, DLC will be out tomorrow for Borderlands 2

The Gearbox panel at PAX Prime started with a bit of news, as they announced the release date for the Digistruct Peak Challenge pack for Borderlands 2 — tomorrow, for $4.99. It’ll drop with the Ultimate Vault Hunter 2 pack, which increases the level cap by 11 (again) and adds a few extras on top (detailed in this chart). In case you couldn’t tell, if you own both packs they’ll combine to unlock extras.

The second Vault Hunter pack will not be included with the Season Pass like the first one. New costumes will also be coming, including a Krieg beer helmet customization option. They also announced that if you pick up the community day 2013 digital access pack you’ll get access to a beta for an unannounced Gearbox title — one of two new IPs Gearbox is working on. Plus, you’ll get Homeworld HD and Homeworld Classic.
