Here in the PlayStation Blog Lounge at GDC 2009, we got a first hand look at the upcoming Resistance 2 DLC coming your way tomorrow.

The main attraction is new competitive multiplayer maps in something called the Aftermath Map Pack, priced at $5.99. In it you’ll get three new battlefields, with one set in Orick and the other two in Twin Falls. All of them feature 20-player deathmatch and team deathmatch action, and Orick also has 20-player Core Control.

We were told that all of these maps are smaller and more intimate than the others, roping you tighter into the action. You’re going to die more.

Also shown were a few new skins, priced at $.99 each. They are as follows: Rachael Parker, (for the ladies?) Female Soldier, Ravager, Cloven, Ranger Variation, and Black Ops Variation. Some of these are customizable to help differentiate you among the other online players.

Finally, there’s a patch, called version 1.50. This adds a new Superhuman Co-op mode, support for a second login, and a new Meltodown mode. The PlayStation Blog has a few more details on the patch.

Grab all of this on March 26th, tomorrow, on the PlayStation Store.
