GC 10: New Halo: Reach ARG, Firefight map & more revealed

First up, the gallery below has some pictures of a new map for Halo: Reach. The Firefight map is called “Corvette “and it’s a very purple place.

On to the real meat. This above video details the Spartan IIIs you’ll be working with throughout the campaign. The really awesome (and nerdy) part of this whole trailer, though, is the reveal of Dr. Hasley. As far as I know, this is the first official character modeling by Bungie of the creator of the Spartan project and of the super AI Cortana.

Additionally, the below video was discovered on the new Halo site, Remember Reach. The site is some kind of ARG and only contains a blinking lamp robotic arm. Perhaps the blinking is Morse code? Or it’s just broken. Stupid broken space robotic lamp arm.

Lots of cool references for fans of the Halo novels. This series looks like it’s going to be part of a bigger mini-story.
