It’s time to return to the Age of Empires series. Age of Empires Online was announced by Microsoft for the PC and the new game brings a bigger focus on sharing and playing with others online. We’ll see new features such as a persistent capitol that evolves even when you’re not around, co-op multiplayer quests and it’s all done on a free-to-play system now.
The official Age of Empires website is taking beta signups right now for those of you who can’t wait for the game to be released. Speaking of which, Age of Empires Online will be out in 2011 for the PC.
