GC 09: Fat Princess stuffed into PSP, screens included

Recommended Videos

Time for a more substantial look at Fat Princess PSP. We knew the brilliant PSN title was making its way to portable consoles, but very little had been revealed. We still don’t know too much, like how the online will work and how different it’ll be from the PS3 version, but we do at least have some pretty pictures, so let’s look at those.

The game looks how you’d expect most ports on a PSP to look. The graphics are clearly simplified, but as far as portable games go, the bright colors and cartoony style works well, and it should look great on the hi-res PSP screen.

I never thought I’d say this, but it’s an exciting time for the PSP. As we draw closer to the release of the PSPgo, the number of hot titles and new features are really starting to take shape. Whether or not consumers notice is another matter, but right now it’s great to see so much support behind the system.

It only took half a decade!
