Garry’s Mod is cheap, now ready for Mac users

A world of previously unseen, weirdly physics-based nightmares now await Mac owners. That’s right, the one and only Garry’s Mod supports Steam for Mac. As an added bonus, if you own the PC version, you won’t have to pay a second time. And if you’re totally new to the, uh, “game,” it’s temporarily down to $4.99.

If nothing else, writing about Garry’s Mod has always been entertaining. The images that often turn up in mandatory searches — hey, got to have a picture with your story — range from juvenile to disturbing to hardcore (as in the bad, cannot be unseen kind).

Never a dull moment, that’s for sure. It’s a shame the same can’t be said for the creation process; unless of course you’re literally just slapping together random items, in which case, that’s nice too, I guess.
