Ganondorf’s last name confirmed as canon

Previously chalked up as an erroneous manual snafu

Years back, in the English manual for The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, folks spotted Ganon/Ganondorf’s last name as “Dragmire,” and didn’t really think much of it. After all, localized Nintendo manuals are rife with all sorts of errors or have caused a lot of confusion, so it was tough to really call it canon.

Well, according to the official Zelda site, which just added a new history section, it’s been adopted and officially confirmed. Dragmire, eh? Giggity.

They could have done a whole lot worse!
