GameStop Expo will be open to the public this year

A good alternative if you couldn’t get into PAX Prime

GameStop’s annual expo will be open to the public this year! The show will be taking place on August 28 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. General admission tickets are $35, while VIP passes are going for $90.

VIP passes will get you into the show an hour earlier, access to a special VIP lounge with complimentary food, drinks, and gaming areas, and a VIP swag bag full of gaming products. There’s additional perks with both passes which you can see over on GameStop

As for the games, you can expect more than 80 companies showcasing games and the like. Sony is even bringing the PlayStation 4 to show off.

I have to say, the GameStop Expo sounds pretty neat. Shame it’s only a day, but it’s a nice consolation especially to anyone in the area that couldn’t score a pass to PAX Prime 2013.
