I know last week I used a Kunt and the Gang video for GotW, but screw it, I’m using another one. I may use every single one Kunt has. He is that amazing. This is one of the band’s newer songs, “Wank Fantasy.” You’ll find it is highly accomlished and makes for brilliant listening. The perfect party track, if it pleases.
Speaking of wanking, we played videogames this week. As always, you can hit the jump to find out more. So go do that.
Perlee: Ass Creed 2! Plants vs Zombies! Left 4 Dead 2!
DMV: Getting my ass handed to me nine ways from Sunday as I try to get up to a more expert level in BlazBlue. I am so not looking forward to having to learn new characters in Continuum Shift, though ; ;
Gutierrez: I’m doing some serious gaming with my God of War Collection. Reliving every single amazing moment in these two games is such a blast, and all in marvelous HD and 5.1 surround sound. Also, going back and watching all the behind the scene documentaries is pretty great!
Ross: Left 4 Dead 2 has been mostly what I’m playing this week. I tried Resident Evil 5, and the controls were so horrendous I stopped after about an hour. Little bit of Trine, little bit of Torchlight, and I briefly checked out Serious Sam HD.
Cantler: I’ve been playing Kaiteoboeru Dora Gana on the DS, and Nostalgia, which is taking me fucking forever to get through. A little SFIV here and there, and some Ikaruga to knock the rust off.
Concelmo: Anthony was right: Sam & Max – Season 2 (or Beyond Time & Space since I am playing it on Xbox Live Arcade) is far superior to the first season. I am only on the second episode and am already falling in love with it. The puzzles are so clever it is ridiculous! My favorite so far is the stocking/coal/liar puzzle from Ice Station: Santa. SO GOOD!
Aside from Sam & Max Beyond Time & Space, I have been playing more of the Metroid Prime Trilogy (still so good!), and a little more LEGO Indiana Jones 2. Oh, and is it “LEGO” or “Lego”? I see it different everywhere!
Bennett: Nose currently still buried in Persona PSP. I take small breaks with Yipe! as well, which is an iPhone game based around a vinyl collectible figure. Cool, huh?
Razak: Chad and I have been playing the same game in Metroid Prime Trilogy. It’s amazing to me how vividly I remember almost every part of every game. It speaks so much to what an amazing worlds the series has. I’m also hoping to pick up a PS2 at some point soon because my old one broke and Chad’s top 50 has made me need to go back and get some games.
Holmes: Been playing a beta of Super Meat Boy for a preview. Took be five days to get it running because my PC is such arse. I don’t think it can even run Qwake, which I heard was a really good game actually.
Also played some Bit.trip VOID, Critter Crunch, Animal Crossing: City Folk, New Super Mario Bros Wii, and No More Heroes.
Sterling: Played The Saboteur, which is one of the year’s biggest surprises for me, even though people who haven’t played it hate me for daring to suggest it might be better than the precious and flawless and brilliant Assassin’s Creed 2. However, I doubt my opinion of Avatar: The Game will be quite so controversial, for that is a game, my friends, that cannot be debated. It is fucking poor. Otherwise, more PC fun — still getting through The Witcher, and kicked it old school with some Quake.
Chester: More Heavy Rain, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and other videogames. Maybe.
North: My dad.
Holmes: This song has always given me the creeps.
