David Perry, CEO of Gaikai, and winner of the “sharpest suit of the night” award, took the stage tonight to give us some more news on the PlayStation 4.

Perry boasts that through the power of Gaikai, the PlayStation Network will feature the “fastest, most powerful gaming network in the world.” The network will “get to know you” by mining data from you and your friends.

There’s a “one button” share capability that lets you broadcast 100% in realtime to your friends. Your partners can watch, trash talk, and play along if possible. This will no doubt be huge for the fighting game and streaming community — imagine interactive “Let’s Play” videos!

You can also try games on the PS4 instantly using Gaikai — “buy what you love” is the motto here. Right now, Facebook and UStream are on board.

Check out ALL the PlayStation 4 coverage from today’s event here. Console specs revealed, new controller detailed, and tons of games announced!
