Don’t let anyone say that Gabe Newell isn’t a man of the people.

After speaking to students at The University of Texas at Austin, which is where his quote about Apple being competition for the PC industry in the living room originated, the managing director of Valve signed a horse-head mask. And then he put it on.

Thankfully for us, the cameras were rolling. The crowd demanded that Newell raise three fingers when posing for the photo opp, but in a nod to our impatience for Half-Life 3, he couldn’t quite get that third finger to stay up. You can’t not like this guy.
