Futuremark teases three games, one looks like Freespace!

People have been saying “Why doesn’t Futuremark make games? 3DMark demos look awesome!” for about 10 years now, and when Futuremark Games released Shattered Horizon, most of those people didn’t actually buy it. But that hasn’t stopped the company from teasing three new games on three different platforms.

Although they want you to figure out which one goes on PC, Xbox Live Arcade, and iOS, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. The first two don’t show much, but the last one looks pretty damn fantastic already. HD-era space combat with capital ships and fighters? Yes please.

It also looks like 3DMark Vantage’s DirectX 10 demo called “New Calico” and a mix between Freespace 2 and what Homeworld might have looked like in first person, if they were both released in 2011. Someone is obviously playing it with a mouse for this teaser though, such blasphemy!
