Finally, the day in which we can assume a role of a afro-wearing robot badass is almost here. Fugazo has announced that their disco flavored WiiWare title Frobot will be releasing in North America on December 20th and will be available for 1000 Wii Points.
Ben Perlee took a look at this game during GDC early this year and came away optimistic about the title’s chances. I’m certainly curious and we could always use another 2D top-down adventure game. Still, there’s a lot of stuff coming to the downloadable services over the next weeks and I’m already drowning. Hopefully I can find some time for this also because it does look rather charming.
A European release is currently expected in 2011.
