Friday Night Fights
Video games come in and out of our life just like the seasons that flow by. There are games that stick around and fill your life with countless hours of joy. Then there are others that fall by the wayside and make you wonder if it was even worth it to start it up. Especially those games with the oddly numbered early achievement early so you feel slightly obliged to see it through.
This week, of course, was Valentine’s week. Lovey dovey couples will be out in droves all week as grand plans are made. After all that is taken care of, it’s time to spend the weekend with games you love. Why not challenge a friend to play a lovely game of H.O.R.S.E. in Halo? (the sticky grenade is the ball and your enemy is the goal)
How about finding someone to watch your back as you escort treasure back in Uncharted? If that’s not what you’re looking for, you can just look for a group to party on the payload in Overwatch. Whatever you’re looking for, we want to help.
New to Friday Night Fights? It’s easy to get involved!
Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play video games online! It’s a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!
If you want to schedule an event (FNF, Weekend Warriors, Twitchtoid), just leave a comment like so:
Time (Eastern Standard, please)
Your Disqus/Dtoid username
To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! (Don’t forget to say you’re from Destructoid!)
Friday Night Fights is a time-honored Dtoid event but you don’t have to wait around to get a game going. Whatever your schedule might be, you can host a game or stream anytime you like by using the Quick Post feature… or schedule it in advance by leaving us a comment with the date and time. We’re all happy to to help get the word out.
