Free App of the Day: Traffic Rush

Recommended Videos

Since my usual App-hunting grounds are failing me lately, I’m turning to Donut Games yet again for one of its older, perpetually free games. Today’s tip-off is Traffic Rush, yet another of Donut’s throwaway casual titles that’s well worth keeping in your pocket for a dull wait at the train station.

The aim of the game is simple — direct traffic through a crossroads and avoid collisions. Swipe cars to speed them up, tap them to make them stop. Really easy stuff, but of course the game gets progressively harder as the second tick along, with eight lanes full of terminally stupid drivers to keep an eye on.

It’s good, it’s free, and while it won’t command an hour of your time, it’ll fill those minutes when nothing else is.
