Today’s freebie is a pleasantly old school first-person dungeon crawler by the name of Necromancer Rising (iOS). If you want a hardcore hack n’ slash roleplayer that costs zero dollars, look no further!
Necromancer is not the best looking game, sporting very basic 3D visuals, and the voice acting is amusingly bad at best. Nevertheless, the game retains a certain charm that the lacking aesthetics only enhance. If you can really get into it, there seems to be quite a lot of gameplay on offer, too.
Just don’t expect a masterpiece, and you might come away satisfied.
