Sega have released an extended video looking at the in-game battle system of their upcoming strategy sequel Valkyria Chronicles 4. The video showcases the series’ turn-based warfare, as well as advertising some of the new iterations classes.

Obviously the video is in Japanese, but any VC veterans will instantly recognise most of the mechanics on display here. The series has been praised in the past for its interesting and intense tactical combat, and it looks like this latest chapter in the dramatic series will be no exception.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 launches in Japan in March on PS4 and Summer on Nintendo Switch. It is scheduled for release in the West on PS4, Xbox One and Switch later in 2018. A demo is currently available on the Japanese PSN store.
