Former OneUps member and Dtoid chief covers Persona 4 tune

The true voice of gaming sings clear

Dale North is one of the best singers in the world. The fact that Dtoid was lucky enough to have him as a writer, and later, as an Editor-in-Chief for so long is delightfully puzzling. It’s like if you came home one day to find that Aimee Mann was your new housekeeper.

Though he’s moved on from Dtoid, Dale will never move on from videogames, or from music. This new “thank you” video shows that Dale hasn’t lost his dulcet tones or his love of JRPGs. The art by Crystal White is equally loving, though the passion there is directed more squarely on Dale, which is as it should be.

Now to just talk him into singing on Dtoid’s next Holiday album

"Where do dreams end and reality begin? Videogames, I suppose."- Gainax, FLCL Vol. 1 "The beach, the trees, even the clouds in the sky... everything is build from little tiny pieces of stuff. Just like in a Gameboy game... a nice tight little world... and all its inhabitants... made out of little building blocks... Why can't these little pixels be the building blocks for love..? For loss... for understanding"- James Kochalka, Reinventing Everything part 1 "I wonder if James Kolchalka has played Mother 3 yet?" Jonathan Holmes
