Is it too late to get into For Honor? You’ll be able to decide for yourself later this week as Ubisoft holds a free weekend, opening up the campaign and multiplayer modes on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
On PC, the event will run from August 10 at 10:00am Pacific to August 13 at 1:00pm Pacific. PS4 and Xbox One players can play for free from August 10 at 12:01am PT to August 14 at 4:59pm PT. Pre-loading For Honor will be an option later tonight, albeit only for the PS4 and Uplay versions.
Why run the event now? Ubisoft is looking to build buzz for the game’s third season, which starts August 15. I can’t help but wonder if it would’ve been better to run the free weekend at the same time.
