Ah, Folklore. You’ve teased me oh so badly at E3, and now I finally get to see some gameplay footage of you. Well, now I finally get to see what Colette was talking about. This here is a collection of what was on the E3 show floor, and it’s nice to finally be able to see what the little lady was talking about.

The ability to draw souls is nice, but I think that the repeated appearance of the PS3 controller would start to get annoying after a while. I just hope to God that I can turn it off. Sure, I’m looking forward to this game, but from the brief look we have here, I can’t help but have images of Final Fantasy stuck in the back of my head. I hope the cutscenes can do quite a bit to change this.

 I’m really hurting for a full-out trailer for the game, as opposed to this compilation of gameplay footage, which is much too brief and cut up to provide anything too solid to touch myself to. Please, give me something else to download onto my PS3! I need my RPGs. It’s my crack.
