Flying Wild Hog’s next game is a platformer

From the makers of Shadow Warior comes… this?

This is not at all what I’d expect from the studio behind Hard Reset and Shadow Warrior.

And you know what? I’m digging it for that exact reason. (Besides, the studio will surely be back with more violent first-person games before long.) JUJU is a two-player cooperative platformer headed to PC and unspecified consoles this fall starring a shaman panda and his lizard pal.

It’s got a vibrant look going for it and there’s a promise of boss fights “from towering robots to giant sea creatures” plus “secret areas, hidden levels, and other game modes,” which I’m liking the sound of it. Flying Wild Hog intends for players of all skill levels to enjoy JUJU, though, admittedly, that’s a tricky balance to achieve. Not that the game needs to be super challenging.
