Five seconds of retro goodness coming your way

In life things that take five seconds are often a disappointment, leaving your fiancee (I got engaged last weekend!) looking at you yet again with disappointment as you roll over and fall asleep. However, not everything that lasts only five seconds has to be a let down. Sometimes five seconds is just the right amount of time. For instance, every week Greyscale Gorilla throws down a challenge to motion designers to come up with a five second vid on a certain subject. This week’s subject: retro gaming.

The contest’s ending isn’t until July 13, but plenty of people have already blown their load (to keep the whole five second sex thing going). There’s a whole bunch over there, but since they’re only five seconds long it doesn’t take that much time to watch through them. I’ve selected three that caught my eye and put them below, but if you’ve got the endurance you can head over here and watch them all.
