See that? That’s what grunge/hard rock band Alice in Chains looks like today. The group lost original vocalist Layne Staley to substance abuse in 2002, but the gang replaced him with William DuVall (right) in 2005 and released the band’s first studio album in 14 years, Black Gives Way to Blue, this past September. They’re still rocking today, over 22 years after their formation, and now they’ve got five songs coming to Rock Band as downloadable content.

Next week (Tuesday, January 12, on Xbox Live and Thursday, January 14, on PlayStation Network) you’ll be able to pick up “Alice in Chains Pack 02” for $8.49 (680 MS Points); it includes the following songs:

  • “Grind” (Alice in Chains, 1995)
  • “Heaven Beside You” (Alice in Chains, 1995)
  • “Last of My Kind” (Black Gives Way to Blue, 2009)
  • “We Die Young” (Facelift, 1990)
  • “Your Decision” (Black Gives Way to Blue, 2009)

As always, you can buy the songs individually for $1.99 (160 MS Points) apiece. In case you’re wondering, the first Alice in Chains track pack was another five-pack, which had “A Looking In View,” “Check My Brain,” “No Excuses,” “Would?” and “Rooster.” Are you guys thinking of buying this one, too?
