Ah, Persona 4: amazing new title, or complete rehash of the sublime Persona 3? It’s hard to say for sure, but since the recent trailer surfaced on the nets fans have been atwitter about this upcoming Atlus release. Skeptical or not, I can tell you that the day P4 comes out I’m going to rush and buy it and then tear it open in the car like a 5 year old. It might be the equivalent of Persona 3.5, but even if so it’s likely to be more unique than most JRPGs I’ll come across this year.
The gallery contains the first direct-feed screenshots from the game, which definitely look a little bit more streamlined that Persona 3 did as far as graphical quality. Still no word on an actual release date yet, but as soon as more info squeaks through the cracks we’ll bring it to the table.
