When I heard that MTV Multiplayer had posted the first footage of LEGO Rock Band today, I’ll admit I rushed over to see it — I’ve been curious for a while if the game was something I was actually going to want or not. After seeing the video, I think I’ve more or less decided I’m going to pass: not because it doesn’t look good, but because it’s just got more of a “for kids” feel than I even expected (and I already expected that). You can judge for yourself, though — the video is after the break.
It’s still due out this Holiday season, and at least you don’t need to purchase any new instruments for it. I know when I bought LEGO Star Wars, I was all about the novelty factor. I wonder if that will make LEGO Rock Band sell, though? What’s your two cents on this?
